Halfway upstairs is a bedroom with two single beds, and the master bedroom is at the top of the stairs, with a deck and a full bath.

Outside is a large private yard surrounded by woods. Cross the lawn to the separate equally charming loft building with cathedral ceilings, brand new renovated shower/bathroom and a double bed in the loft. Note: There is no wifi or A/C in the loft.

We loved this house. We have been renting in Wellfleet for years, and this is one of the best yet. Location is terrific, a quick bike ride to Gull Pond or into downtown Wellfleet, and amazingly private and quiet. There is wonderful space for quiet work, in the Loft and in the bedrooms, and plenty of room for our 3 year old granddaughter to run around. Decor is beach house quirky but clearly well- loved and with charm. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining areas indoor and outdoors were excellent. We look forward to renting it again next year.
